Hey! We’re Nana & Reed!

Nana & Reed label started the way most of our best ideas do.. around the shop. between conversations, and with a whole lot of “what if we just made it ourselves?”

For the past three years, we've owned and operated a baby boutique, spending our days surrounded by tiny clothes, new babies, growing families, and lots of moms.

We fell in love with bamboo babywear pretty quickly. It's soft, comfortable, easy to wear, and made for the kind of everyday life that comes with having little ones. But we also started dreaming about something of our own. 

We wanted bamboo pieces that fit the way we thought they should. We wanted them to hold up wash after wash. And most of all, we wanted prints that made us excited to put them on our own babies.

So, Nana & Reed was born. 

We're not interested in rushing through collections just to have something new. We'd rather take our time, play with colour, obsess over a print, and wait until something feels just right. (Enter Lisa (Nana) - 30+ years of graphic design)

If we don't absolutely love it, we're not making it. 

We want our collections to feel fun and fresh, while still being pieces you'll reach for over and over again. A little less ordinary. A little more personality.
